Alexandria Institute of Psychotherapy (AIP) is a comprehensive training and mentoring institute located in Alexandria, Egypt. The city that held the light of science, art and inclusive culture throughout thousands of years.
Over the last 15 years, AIP family were experiencing different stories and challenges in Egypt and the whole MENA region between learning, practicing, and training different psychotherapy models. Each challenge was a supporting brick in building an institute that shortcuts a long journey for you.

Gottman Couple Therapy
Be one of the pioneers clinicians in Egypt who have been trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and used our proven assessment techniques and interventions in their work with couples.

DBT Training
Training as a DBT therapist is training to save and change lives, AND it is life-changing for both client and psychiatrist
DBT Comprehensive Training by AIP © is a comprehensive team-based program of study designed to provide teams with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive DBT program including the four modes of therapy which are individual therapy, skills training, in-between sessions coaching and team consultation. It focuses on both preparing teams for the establishment of comprehensive DBT programs and the clinical skills necessary to provide the treatment to persons with complex mental health problems. DBT Diploma by AIP © also includes specific content directed to risk assessment, management, and treatment of suicidal behaviors.
The program is divided into 10 weeks study groups followed by 4 parts that are designed to guide teams to accomplish four phases of DBT program implementation. While the four parts are described separately, they comprise a single program of study.
